#51 Fireside Chat: Thumbs Up for 'The Hunger Games' Sunday 25 March, 2012
“Thumbs Up for ‘The Hunger Games'”
Did you miss Episode 51 LIVE last night? No problem! You can now listen to it recorded by clicking here or using the embedded player below!
Episode 51 of Hunger Games Fireside Chat will air live this Monday, March 26, at 10pm ET/7pm PT! This week, our panel of experts will include some of our fabulous friends from Down with the Capitol, Crystal of Mockingjay.net and FictionalFood.net, Sam of Sam Cushion Music, Kait from Victor’s Village, Courtney of Welcome to District 12, Ariel of Nerdy, Wordy, and Almost Thirty, and Crushable‘s very own Natalie!
Now that The Hunger Games has opened in theatres worldwide (can you believe it!?), we’ll be talking all about the film, its performance at the box office, etc. Warning: This episode will contain movie spoilers!
– We’ll kick off the show by looking at the massive success of The Hunger Games at the box office this weekend. It broke quite a few records, and we think it’s safe to say that Catching Fire is pretty much a “definite go” now.
– We’ll do a sort of “group review” of the movie, discussing and analyzing it as much as we can in the time allotted! We’ll talk about all the changes and additions, the music, the cinematography, the acting, etc.
– We’ll also briefly discuss our midnight showing experiences, since some of us unfortunately ended up with audiences that — while comprised of people who obviously loved the books — seemed to not “get” or fully understand The Hunger Games on a deeper level.
