Episode 23 of the Hunger Games Fireside Chat podcast aired live on Monday, September 5, at 10pm ET/7pm PT! This week, our panel of experts included some of our fabulous friends from Down with the Capitol and The Hob. We were also joined by Sam of District Tribute and Panem Radio, Sara of TheHunger Games Examiner, Natalie of Crushable, Jake Vineyard of The Vivacity Blog, and Phil Wallace, founder and president of Picktainment.

– We started out by weighing in on the three-part interview Gary Ross did with MTV via Skype (Director’s CommentaryPerspectiveBurning Questions).
– Next we analyzed Rue’s “Mockingjay Call” with the help of music blogger Patrick Wells (we think it sounds eerily similar to a few famous movie themes…).
– We also briefly examined the #WhatsMyDistrict/TheCapitol.PN phenomenon and Steven Soderbergh’s explanation of his role as second unit director.
– We closed out the show by talking to the brilliant Mrs. Orman about her amazing online collection of Hunger Games lessons!
