Episode 5 of the Hunger Games Fireside Chat podcast aired live Monday, May 2, 2011! This week, our panel of fan site representatives included some of our fabulous friends from The Hob and Down with the Capitol!

You thought William and Kate’s guest list was impressive? You must not have seen this Monday’s line-up!

– At 10:00pm, we were joined by Natalie Zutter of Crushable, Kimberly Denny-Ryder of Reflections of a Book Addict, and Ariel Birdoff, children’s publishing expert and Wrocker.
– At 10:15pm, we discussed: Is celebrating Osama bin Laden’s death equivalent to Coin’s desire to institute another Hunger Games?
– At 10:25pm, we chatted with Leah Wilson, editor of The Girl Who Was on Fire.
– At 10:35pm, we talked trailers with Kim Shelby, the creative mind behind The Hunger Games Project.
– And, at 10:45pm or so, Besty Bird — the children’s librarian at the New York City Public Library — called us on her way home from the Children’s Choice Book Awards (Mockingjay is nominated for Book of the Year, Suzanne Collins for Best Author!).

As always, we discussed the latest movie news and answer some of your questions!

Talk about it on Twitter, using our hashtag #HGFiresideChat.
