Episode 4 of the Hunger Games Fireside Chat podcast aired live Monday, April 25, 2011! This week, our panel of fan site representatives included some of our fabulous friends from The Hob, Down with the Capitol, and The Hunger Games Trilogy Fansite!

Some fantastic guests joined us this week:
– At 10:00, Amy Wilkinson of MTV’s Hollywood Crush Blog
– Also at 10:00, Ariel Birdoff, children’s publishing expert and Wrocker
– At 10:10, Lenzi Hart, the 8th grade teacher whose students wrote letters to Gary Ross after reading The Hunger Games in class
– At 10:20, Kelly Croy, a 7th grade teacher who used The Hunger Games as the basis for a service learning curriculum in a project-based learning classroom
– At 10:35, Sarah Darer Littman, award-winning young adult novelist and author of “The Politics of Mockingjay,” one of the essays in The Girl Who Was on Fire

We also observed a strange phenomenon during Episode 4 as hundreds of citizens of Panem tweeted and IMed us — starting at about 10:30 — in support of their home districts. Adam and Savanna also received threatening text messages from unknown Capitol officials, but we made it clear that we cannot and will not be silenced.
