8/23/13: Cool Stuff We Found This Week Friday 23 August, 2013

Happy Friday! For this week’s installment of CSWFTW, we’ve pulled together several pieces of Catching Fire-related fan art that we think you’ll really like! Remember, if you ever come across anything that you think should be featured here, let us know by sending us an email or tweeting us!

This piece of fan art was created by Joheneps09 in honor of the new trailer, and we just ADORE it. Look at the textures, the light, etc. So excellent!

We found this cool image on my-patronus-isa-mokingjay’s Tumblr. If only it were larger, it would make a pretty fantastic desktop wallpaper. We aren’t sure who created it, so if you know, tell us!

Speaking of desktop wallpapers, here’s an incredible Catching Fire wallpaper from SamyOshea. We love how she incorporated that goosebump-generating quote along with several moving images from the trailer.

Lastly, this is page five of a Peeta-centric comic called “Steadfast Boy Soldier,” so please be sure to visit GHTlovesTHG’s deviantART gallery to see more. We’re featuring the fifth page here because it depicts one of the final scenes in Catching Fire, and…wow. GHTlovesTHG, you’re ridiculously talented.
