5/3/13: Cool Stuff We Found This Week Friday 03 May, 2013

It’s time for another installment of Cool Stuff We Found This Week! Remember, if you ever find any cool Hunger Games stuff online, you’re welcome to send it to us!

This week we have a total hodgepodge of things to show you. So let’s get started!

First up is this Catching Fire book clutch. It was made by Nicki Lynn, who is currently selling it for $55 in her nickilynnscrafts shop on Etsy. Here are the details from the Etsy listing:

It is a clutch made from the “Catching Fire” book without the dust jacket. I lined the inside with cotton fabric and [it] has a pocket that’s a good size for holding keys or phone. This clutch closes with a button and stretch-string. It measures about 5 1/2 in. x 8 1/2 in. Book lovers don’t worry…I rebind the pages with the dust jacket so you still get to read it:)

This next thing is something that was brought to our attention by our friends at Welcome to District 12. The Tumblr user hey-listen creates Starbucks signs (we’re guessing she works at a Starbucks?) and this is her latest creation:

So cool! The Starbucks Tribute blend is obviously not related to The Hunger Games in any way, but we still really want to try it!

If you’re in the market for some new jewelry, we found this beautiful pair of aluminum rings in the LindaMunequita Etsy shop. It’s $19 CAD for both (or $19.34 USD). One ring says “Real or not real?” and the other says “Real.” While you could definitely wear both yourself, we also think it would be cool to give one to a friend (or that “special someone”).

And speaking of aluminum…check out this INCREDIBLE aluminum mockingjay made by @Lashae_Crall for a college project (which she got an A on, of course!). It took her more than five hours to make, and we’re not surprised — look at all of the detail!

Lastly, we have Toby Turner’s “literal” version of the Catching Fire teaser trailer. Toby Turner (a.k.a. Tobuscus) is an incredibly popular YouTuber known for — among other things — his literal trailers. They’re always hilarious, and this one is no exception. Just sit back and enjoy!
