8/17/12: Cool Stuff We Found This Week Friday 17 August, 2012
Since so many of you will be headed back to school/college soon (or maybe you’ve already started!), we thought we’d do something a bit different with our “Cool Stuff” post this week and share our favorite back-to-school merchandise from NECA! Aside from one item, everything we’ve chosen is under $20 and available at Amazon.com (just click the links or the images).
First up is this Hunger Games lunchbox and matching thermos. Metal lunchboxes are totally making a comeback, so don’t be afraid to bring your lunch to school in style!
Price: $9.99 at Amazon.com
If you REALLY want to make a statement and show your love for The Hunger Games to the world, this flaming mockingjay water bottle might be perfect for you! Price: $14.99 at Amazon.com
For those of you who’d rather have something a bit more understated, we think this bow and arrows bag clip is incredibly cute! Price: $8.99 at Amazon.com
I (Savanna) am an organization freak, so I love pencil cases. This one isn’t overly loud or obnoxious and looks like it could hold quite a lot of supplies. It could also double as a makeup bag! Price: $9.80 at Amazon.com
More and more students are now using iPads in class, so we just had to include this soft black iPad case. We love the subtle grey mockingjay pin design! Price: $29.99 at Amazon.com
If you don’t want to go so far as to buy an orange backpack, why not cover your bag in these district seal pins? Price: $14.99 at Amazon.com
This stationery set is pretty sweet. It comes with pencils, a pencil sharpener, erasers, AND a ruler. Price: $4.99 at Amazon.com
Lastly, for those of you who are still stuck wearing your school ID around your neck (ugh), this Peeta lanyard might make things a little less painful. Price: $5.99 at Amazon.com

Where can I get these??
At Amazon.com! Sorry we didn’t make that more clear. All the links take you to Amazon.com and you can click on each picture as well. All of the items are available at Amazon but you may be able to find some at Target, Wal-Mart, and Toys “R” Us.
